Hand stop question
Does a hand stop from a Winchester 52 fit an Anschutz 1903?
Short answer: Nope. The rails are different. Unless someone installed an Anschutz-style rail in the 52.
More than you want to know: There's also the possible problem of the curve in the forend. An older Freeland-style handstop, formed for both the web of the hand AND the curve of the stock, will not sit onto the Ans stock, which is basically straight. (Talking cross section-wise). Get a $12-$15 handstop from Champions Choice or Champion Shooters Supply and you are good to go for now. PL
