special traning for pistol shooter?

hye,

i would to ask, 1) is there any specific gym training or physical training for a pistol shooter??

2) as psychology and technique very important, are there any online references or books that might help me in shooting??. Right now i am reading ways of the rifle 2009. its a very great book so far.

please share anything.

Do you have any suggestions for finding a copy of Yur' Yev's book? At least in the US it's out of print.

I see there's a used one on ebay for $100

Like David suggested on Ebay or another source where I got mine was Amazon used books, be prepare to pay for it though they are expensive now.

I got mine 15 years or more ago. There are clearly more people wanting the book than copies on the market, so a reprint is certainly order. Any way to persuade NRA to use print-on-demand to bring the book back to life?

I highly recommend the pitol marksmanship manual from the USAMU. Fundamentals don't change, just the target and the types of pistols. If you learn the fundamentals you can apply them to any pistol course of fire. Good SHooting Bill Horton
