Drulov DU-10 Issues
Two issues I could use some help on.
First one is about bulk fill. The gun has near 50 good shots on a 12 g powerlet as expected. I use the bulk fill and I get only 10 shots that sound like full power then 5-10 more that drop off. Same if I connect for 30 seconds or 10 minutes. The 9 ounce tank I fill from has a good fill from a 5 pound tank as the weight goes up several ounces. So obvious issues are either the valve on the 9 once tank is not working or the valve on the dun is not working. Or something else. Anyone had this issue with a co2 gun? I am inverting the 9 once tank so the co2 will get pushed in just like the directions say.
Next issue is the Muzzle velocity (#3 in the drulov diagram) is coming loose as I shoot the gun. Any recommendations for correcting this? Anyone had this problem before with this pistol?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Besides these problems the pistol shoot pretty well. Some doubling up along with eratic accuracy when pressure gets low.

Try contacting Boris at TGAG - he's the US Drulov importer. Call him, he doesn't tend to respond to email.

The velocity nut will back-out, the other screws will back-out, gradually the whole pistol will disassemble unless you keep an eye on it.
Perhaps some loctite would help. I just tighten them when I need to.

good fill......
You definitely should be getting more full powered shots when bulk filled than what you are seeing. To make sure you are getting a good fill try pre-cooling the gun's reservoir by doing some rapid shooting without pellets which should drop it's temperature nicely. You will get a much better fill if it is cool. You could also place the gun in the freezer for about ten minutes to get that result but not the easier way to get there for sure. I shoot mine via bulk fill exclusively and have not had any similar problems regarding number of shots from one fill. I haven't experienced either of the other two problems but have owned the gun (purchased second hand) less than a year and have probably only put a few hundred shots through it. Best regards, Joe G.
Working on it.
Well I found that the small fill tank that came with the pistol is not getting the fill I thought.
I expect it is the valve on the small tank. The adapter between tanks has a small hole but I understand that pressure drop is wanted in filling. Will look at getting an adapter so I can try filling from a paintball tank that I know is full of co2.
Thanks for the advice.

The cool way....
Perhaps the valve is the problem but make sure you are attempting your fill following these basic rules: Before you fill the Drulov accessory cylinder from your large CO2 tank you should definitely place the Drulov cylinder in your freezer for about ten minutes. Your large CO2 tank should have a siphon hose installed inside so that you can get a good fill out of it without having to turn it upside down. If you are not sure that your large tank has a siphon hose, try it both upside down and right side up to see which way works better. Before you attach the accessory tank to the large tank you should first open the valve on the large tank until you get a solid CO2 stream coming out. Shut the valve at this point and then attach the precooled small cylinder and fill it, it should take about ten seconds or so. When you go to fill the pistol from the small cylinder you should have the cylinder valve facing down to get a good fill out. The hole on the adapter to connect the two tanks is a release for excess CO2 as you disconnect them after the filling process. Good luck, Joe G.

Cooled the cylynder and yest it is better.
Putting the cylinder in the freezer gets me up to 30 good shots.
For the unscrewing I have press fit a little o-ring in and that stops it. I would prefer to have the screw backed farther out for lower power and more shots maybe. Might try a drop of fingernail polish.
Thanksfor the help!

I see this is an old post. But after browsing it, I thought I would address the 12g powerlets. I tired of paying for them and made some refillable 8/12/16 gram cartridges. Anybody ever experimented with refillable cartridges as small as these? Ever seen any commercially available? Comments?
refillable CO2 capsules.....
I seem to remember Brocock of England offered a refillable 12 gram. If I am correct, they first came out with them over ten years ago....
Congrats on doing that yourself... Joe G.

12g Brocock refillable powerlets...
You may be on to something. You're not the only one today who's mentioned Brocock to me. Gonna try to get my hands on some. Brocock's a little crippled on their website now. Perhaps I'll find someone in the forums who has some of their gear to sell.

Drulov DU 10 broken
Hi.
I'm new in this forum.
A friend of mine owns a Drulov DU-10.
Some days ago the lever (#1 in the user's manual) broke making the pistol unusable.
Do you know where he can find a new one?
Many thanks.
