Any ISSF rules against wearing clogs while shooting?
I wore Dansko clogs while shooting today. Stand there for two hours, never felt so comfortable standing.
Dansko clogs has no back cover, so it is like an orthopedic arch supported, thick heel (1 1/2 inch) slipper clog. It is what people who standing on their feet all day, like chef and hospital staff, wear
Any rules against those Swedish (or Danish) clogs?
In a match, would someone actually say " You can't wear that here" ?

The only rule that could apply is that the shoe can't give you support so the shoe can't cover the ankle bone. If there are any other rules it would be local range rules. Last year at Fort Benning they wouldn't let a shooter shot in flip flops shot because they didn't want a hot shell landing on her foot and causing an accident. So she had to change shoes that covered her feet.Seamaster wrote:I wore Dansko clogs while shooting today. Stand there for two hours, never felt so comfortable standing.
