Ft Benning Nationals?
Looks like no AP for them anymore or did I miss the listing?
REAL PIA with regards to cylinders and air travel now.
Half thinking of driving but thats no fun either.
I almost went to the 3x air in December.
How many ended up discarding their cylinder rather than miss their flight?
All of a sudden I realize that competition shooting, as I knew it, is now behind me.
thanks

The AP for spring selection is this coming weekend.
Bruce, where are you reading that there is no AP at nationals. I don't see it.
Also, there are new procedures for transporting cylinders. You can mail them to yourself to the OTC. They will have prepaid mailers at the OTC for you to send them home. Yes, a PITA. But, don't let that keep you from coming to the events, Bruce. We always enjoy seeing you and visiting with you.
Thanks
Marc

Cylinders
There shouldn't be a problem with cylinders as long as they are empty. One of the main issues at the Colorado Springs airport is that they don't have the machines that can see through Aluminum Cylinders, but Atlanta has the machines.Marc Orvin wrote:Bruce,
June 12-19 is the Rifle and Pistol Nationals at Ft Benning. I don't know about cylinder stuff for nationals. That would be a good question to ask Lindsay this weekend. I'll ask her and post her answer here next week.
