FWB P70 front sight question...

Can someone tell me the size of the front aperature inserts for the p70 rifle? I have been told 18mm or 22 mm but don't know what the measurement is of, the sight itself or the insert? I measure the insert I have at the outer most diameter and it is just around 19mm(which would point to 22mm sight) but the inner beveled edge measures 18mm(which could mean 18mm insert) hence the confusion.
A recomendation on where to start with pellets would be appreciated also. Thanks and sorry for the stupid questions.

The standard front sight on a fwb p70 is 22mm. If ordering inserts or adjustable front iris order the ones that say for 22mm front sight. If you had an 18mm front sight the insert size would have to be smaller then 18mm when measured in order to fit in the sight tunnel. Hope this helps.
