Be aware that you need to cosider pistol security when in NZ. Travel from AKL to Hamilton and back is fine and you can leave the pistols in the Armoury while the Nationals are on. But, if you want to have a look around at the fantastic scenery, you will NOT be carting your pistols with you in the boot of some old hack rental car. The Kiwi's didn't have a plan for that a couple of years ago - other than travel back to Auckland and lodge them with the police. Perhaps someone from Pistol NZ can expand on this?
If you want to do this, secure storage can be arranged without too much hassle. So long as there's prior notice given to the organiser.Think Aboutit wrote:Be aware that you need to cosider pistol security when in NZ. The first step "think aboutit" would be to enter.
