I have a 69U that around 2--3 shots out of 50 misfire. It appears that the firing pin is not hitting hard enough as they always go off on the second strike. I recently broke a firing pin which I replaced I am using
Geco .22 pistol ammo.
Other members of my club can feed their 69's with allsorts of .22 ammo and have virtually nil malfunctions. My latest batch of Geco Ammo works fine in other club member's guns. Could I have a weak hammer spring??? any comments appreciated.
