Kimber 82G rear sight

I just became owner of my first 82G. While looking it over in the cleaning vise I noticed that the detent ball for the elevation adjustment looked like it was a bit "tall". Curious about it I turned the elevation adjustment a few times, and sure enough the ball shot out of there never to be seen again.

Question is, now what? Do I try to get it repaired? Is there a suitable replacement out there? I'm not aware of any source for parts, and I am really lost at this point. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, Dave

Need replacement parts for Kimber 82G. Sights and/or elevation detent ball and action screw.

Suggestions?

When it comes to the Kimber 82 Goverment model parts are not avalable
any more. The only way to get parts is to buy a spare CMP Kimber 82G for parts.
