Who is your pick to win the World Cup Final next week?
Pang Wei, the Olympic gold medalist, is probably not the best shooter from China. He shot 580 in the Chinese national sport championship yesterday. 580 is only good for #15.

China has such great depth in their shooters. Is there any other country with such depth?
Pound for pound, what are the top three countries with best depth?

China has 1.3 billion people so China is the world's largest and most populous country. As a result they have a big pool of potential top shooters. But in a world cup all shooters have a chance to victory as they all shoot over 580. The countries from former USSR also have very strong teams. I really would like to see Pyzianov or Skanaker win again with a world record preferably with an old FWB 65 :P:P:P:P
I agree with the above assessment.
China has the same population as Europe. It has the same land size as Europe, excluding Russia.
So essentially, China is what Roman Empire would look like had it not disintegrated. China is a Roman Empire that did not die.
So pound for pound, I think there are more quality shooters from Europe as a whole, than from China.
But in term of real "pound for pound" power country, it got to be Korea.
Those Koreans are tough customers.
