Looking to purchase a PCP pistol; suggestions?

Hi all,
I am new here. I'm a farm kid from the Canadian prairies currently living in 'the city', and have been paper punching in my basement for the past few years, to keep my hand in, so to speak. I'm growing increasingly interested in acquiring a precharged 10 meter pistol. I have some spring pistols (BSA, Weihrauch) and a quality SSP (FAS 604) that I will likely never test the limits of. Still, I am saving my pennies. What could I reasonably expect to lay out, in dollar value, for a beginner/intermediate setup (i.e., gun, pump [?], extra cylinders, etc.)? Any advice as to a particular manufacturer? I'd love an LP10 but the price tag is more than I could muster in the forseeable future. I've been looking at Twinmaster's offerings; their prices here in Canada are about half or less than the Steyr or its equivalent. Competition is not likely in the cards, but who knows? Any and all advice appreciated.

I think the Pardini's are the lowest priced PCP's I would look at. Anything below that is crap that will just piss you off after a while.

BUT....you can buy a REALLY decent used CO2 match gun (Walther, Pardini, FWB) cheap and it won't handicap you in the least. It will be FAR superior to anything you have now or are considering.

CO2 is readily available and tanks don't cost much; many are floating around for the asking. I don't imagine there are many dive shops in your location and a pump or tank is a somewhat expensive accessory.

Given the choice of a FAS 604 and a Twinmaster, I'd stick with the 604 (especially if you've got the front sight extension).

Don't neglect the Benelli Kite - a few hundred $$$(USD) less than the Pardini. Maybe a bit less sophisticated, but a fine performer and built to last. If it's not available in Canada, I think you'll find the FAS 609 very similar if not nearly identical.

Do a search on this forum, and you'll find all you'll need to make a sane, if not wise, decision.

Thank you for the suggestions, I had not considered a CO2 gun. I like the Benelli as well. The 604 is a great little gun, and as I said, I'm not going to test its limits anytime soon. I will do some more reading.
