Are you giving a discount to anyone who shows up with a ticket stub from the UVa/W&M game?

Good luck with your match - I would make it if I still lived there!

John, perhaps you refer to the TCU game on the 12th or perhaps you should have been at the bullseye match some of your old bullseye buddies held at Cavalier on the fifth. We could have dug up a spare pistol or two for you to use!

Hi Pete.
I haven't been on the USAS web site since April. Just went on to set up some AP and FP PTO's for the Fall/Winter season and found it totally changed. Is it still possible to set up/get approval for matches on line and enter match results and fees on line? Not a friendly system! I can't even figure out how to renew my club's dues.

Regards,
Fred

Fred, I did it the old fashion way, snail mail etc. USAS was quick to turn around the approval. Until the new web site is converted from whatever other sport this new web site was orginally built for, we are in some previous century!

I would advertise your matches on Tarket Talk to let folks know about it.

Thanks Pete.

Back when I was working I had several assignments in which I was the liasion between the people developing new software and the users. I quickly learned to 'beware computer programmers bearing new and improved programs'. I remember the complaints about the original USAS website, but at least it (eventually) worked. Now we are back to nothing :-(

Will you be turning away shooters who are not USAS members?

No, we will not turn anyone away that is interested in shooting international pistol and we will try to assist any beginners in any way we can.

We will try to encourage participation.

Great! I might try to make it then. Do you have scuba tanks to fill cylinders? I have an LP1 and I have my own adapter, but I don't have an air tank anymore.

Well, ah...sorry to say but I tend to think of needing an air tank and using an LP1 with Air Pistol matches and unfortunately, I am not set up to offer air pistol. We only have outdoor ranges.

Perhaps you have a 22 rimfire pistol or revolver?

Contact me at: cavalierip at hotmail dot com and I can direct you to a few local air pistol clubs holding regular "club" matches.
