front sight IZH Baikal 46M

Post by 1008mod »

Hi,

Just began practicing with my air pistol again and I had decided to change the foresight to a thicker one. The problem is that when I tighten the foresight screw, it moves the sight to the right. I bought the pistol second hand and though it looks fine, I can't understand this problem.

I never had this pistol with my first 46m that I had bought brand new, I still regret selling that one.

I would be grateful for any tips.

Regards,

Dev

Grip the entire front sight with a pair of pliers ( not needle nose) and hold while tightening. If that doesn't work examine the set screw front and carefully remove any burrs on the "set" end. "Doc"
