And at the halfeway point... quote "At the end of the 50 metre section of the Roberts Match, the Great Britain team held a lead of 13 points over the United States of America, scoring 1948 points ex 2000, compared with the USA's 1935."

Great Britain regained the Roberts Trophy at Bisley on 21 August. The scores were relatively low, reflecting the windy conditions, and as a result the margin of victory, 36 points, was larger than would normally have been expected.
