morini 162 E vs M trigger

Post by yana »

Are they the same quality? I mean, weightwise, feel etc? I'm not really intrested in problems, reliability etc with the E's as I dont shoot matches anyhow. Grip adjustabilty also not an issue for me. Just intrested in the quality comparison of the trigger let-off.
I have (in repair) an old 162E but can buy a younger (detachable cilinder) 162M and 162E. I liked the E trigger. Will the M disappoint me? Cant try it out, its 4 sale in a neighbouring country...

The triggers of the 162EI and 162MI feel different.

As has been discussed frequently, the electronic trigger pressure does not reduce noticeably when the shot goes off. The pressure on the mechanical trigger does.

This reduction in pressure causes a movement of the trigger which might or might not be reduced by a trigger stop. Either way, the feel is definitely different.
