5M AP targets

Post by Rover »

I like to practice in my garage. I've been using Cible 106T 5M targets, but there are currently none available (that I can find).

Beeman sells some targets, but they are expensive crap.

Anyone have a line on a decent 5M target?

If you want to buy pre-printed then it won't be much good to you but if you need to print some own then I presume you have seen the 5m targets .pdf produced by our webmaster.
They are proportioned to both look and score correctly at 5m, that's why the black extends part way into the 6 ring.

lurking around in the background at 10m Air RIFLE competitions on paper targets pays dividends...

- AR comps are one shot per target
- the black on an AR target (30.5mm) is near enough 1/2 on an AP target (59.5mm)
- training at 5M (at home - dry fire or 'live' fire) it is a bit of a waste of time if you are worrying about the score IMHO; but training for group is of real benefit. I.e. the scoring rings could be more of a hinderance than a help

my procedure is to put the used AR target over a bit of pistol target black and shoot for group - move the relative position between the front and backing (black) target and shoot aother group.

Thanks for the advice, guys.

I'm spoiled in that I like the good quality target paper, so I guess I'll use the AR targets. I have acces to an unlimited supply of fired ones free.

As you say, I'm just shooting for groups (I'm not in any postal matches or such), but I liked shooting an entire 60 shot series for score even if the score was only approximately(?) comparable to 10M.

Maybe Cibles will have them available again soon.

If you want to get #1 on Google listen to Matt Cutts.

Don't waste your $$$ on the wrong kind of backlinks - They won't work.

Since the Google "Panda" update a lot has changed.

Google has moved the playing field and simple text links are almost
counter productive, Pyramid linkbuilding is no longer worth the effort
but Contextual Links will get you an almost immediate SERPS
improvement.

Tens of thousands of both can be done in 24hrs using Scrapebox, and
because of that Google is now giving simple text links less weight in
SERPS.

If you watch the latest video by Matt Cutts, Google's own guru, you
will learn that contextual backlinks now have the most value.

Contextual backlinks are links placed inside an article or blog post
that are in the context of their surrounding text, so they look
natural.

For example an article on firefighting might have links to a
firestation URL. These are quite time consuming to create and
invariably need an image to get maximum Google juice.

For anyone planning to create backlinks I recommend you to take 3
minutes to watch the Matt Cutts video on

If you recognise the change he speaks about. then afterwards use their
FREE software to create some contextual articles embedded with your
own URL.
