ISSF 25M Pistol Grips

Post by A74BEDLM »

Is it legal to have a thumb rest as long as the maximum width of the grip ibncluding palm rest does not exceed 50mm? Not very clear from rule 8.10 P336 of ISSF Rules.

Simple answer, totally legal (obviously provided that the other rules are complied with).

Thumb rests are even mentioned in note a) of rule 8.9

Sorry just to clarify this is for the Standard 25M and Centrefire 25M Disciplines.

Still the same answer.

Rule 8.9 note b), which is for 25m pistols, starts by saying that note a) applies.

Remember that it's not just the grips that have to go in to the 50mm wide box, the whole gun has to.
