Dry Firing the LP50

Post by Mike Peters »

The LP50 has a 5 shot dry fire magazine as an optional extra. I read somewhere a small amount of gas is released to cycle the mag during dry firing.

Most of my dry firing will be single shot. Can the LP50 dry fire in single shot mode without the special mag and/or without releasing gas?

If so, what is the process?

Just cock it and click away, without the mag.

For what it's worth, after by cocking and clicking for awhile, I bought the dry fire mag and life is so much more pleasant! For one thing my fingers don't hurt from continually cocking the gun and for another the release feels much more like it does when you actually shoot a pellet.
