Munich world cup

Anyone know why the shooting jacket of Matt Emmons was ripped apart around the shoulders and armpits at the Munich ISSF world cup.Seems it didn't stop him getting silver in the prone event though. Colin

One must assume it failed equipment control for some reason. Nice pics of the 'damage' on the ISSF website;

So if this is the case are the ISSF going to pay for a new jacket, they must think that shooters are all loaded with money.
I would love to know the story behind this.

it would be better to know what has happened and why before jumping on a 'blame the ISSF' bandwaggon
IF(!!!) it was failure to pass EC (doubtful...), would it not be the manufacturer's fault?

It would appear that Matt has cut up his jacket to better fit him in all positions - namely 3p - kneeling. As Spencer says though, it'd <probably> be the manufacturers fault if the shooter bought an apparently ISSF legal jacket, but not if the shooter then got too big for said jacket. That said the rules don't always stay the same for very long...
