Hi,
I tried for the first time to use my USB scatt with my Morini CM84 free pistol. I mounted the sensor on the sight holder similary to mounting the sensor on air cylinder (not using the barrel inserts).
During the caliberation phase the shots were placed in inner circle down on the right (tried a few shots all placed more or less at the same place all in the inner circle).
When passing to the sights phase most of the shots were placed at the upper left of the target around the 1st ring and even outside the target.
I also noted that the Length variable for all shots was ~250 which in my opinion is better that my actual hold (I compared it to a scatt session I made 2 years ago with a Toz and my best Lenght was around 400).
If someone has any idea of what can explain these phenomenons I will highly appreciate it.

Remember "best case scenario" the actual shot will fall somewhere between 0mm and 2mm away from the where the computer thought it was.
The computer has absolutely no capability to predict the direction and magnitude of the random error inherent in your gun.
Actually, if you can center the computer group on top of the actual group, the computer will give you a much clearer (more accurate) indiciation of your technique than actual shot holes, as the actual shot holes include your technique + error of the gun. The computer only shows the error of yoiru technique . . .

I probably failed to explain myself clearly.
I did not use live firing. My setup is within the basement with 6m far from the target.
My question relates to the starge behaviour I get from the scatt system: The simulator shot placements (far at the target top right 1st ring).
The shot "Length" measurement (column shown in the shot list) which can explain how stable isyour hold.

You will need to calibrate when shooting sighting series. Drag and drop the "impacts" where you think they should be. With little iteration, you will be able to come close to the "reality".
Even though the manaul says that you can shoot from 6 m, I found that shorter the distance, it is more heretic. I will suggest shooting (if possible )from 10 m.
When comparing session with your TOZ, that's ok. Traces are longer are longer when shooting at "50m".
