enlarging cross-channel on trigger shoe

Post by Chris Bauer »

I am thinking about enlarging the cross-channel on my LP10 trigger shoe for "better feel".

Mec trigger seems to have much wider cross-channel on the trigger shoe.

So is it a good idea to file the existing channel into 1)wider 2)deeper channel?

Thanks.

Yeah, the stock LP10 shoe is okay, but I wanted something different. My father has a machine shop and machined me a new shoe. It's also offset so that I could angle it more and still keep it inside the trigger guard and on my finger tip.

And I did a DIY anodizing job on it as well. A better shot of the offset we put into it. Much more comfortable for me for many reasons.

There was some discussion about commercially available alternatives to the stock shoe. I'd search it out. There was some compelling information included.

Is the TEC-HRO trigger the same as the MEC trigger?
