Could you also post the detail picture of the tubular magazine for the MG-4?
I've seen the MG-2 magazine cracked near the retention rail for the magazine follower.

You mix things that have nothing in common besides the name of Morini: the CM162 and MG1 are completely different pistols, the CM22M and MG2 have completely different design/concepts. Yes, I know if you fiddle and change parts and polish bits and use the right ammo etc. they can work. But, for something to be 'reliable' you should be able to take it out of the box and have it work without all that.

Got my new MG2 3 weeks ago, besides a good cleaning I have done nothing but shooting. Tried 6-7 types of ammo, all in all about 700 rounds, 0 malfunctiones!
This pro/con MG2 is getting quite tedious.........

I dire hope the MG4 proves itself reliable. If the MG-folks have done their homework, that is.
Proper, and long time, testing prior to shipment to the market, is an important part of a gun manufacturers homework, in my opinion.

Unfortunately, in our days of rampant wannabe-capitalism, all products (and not just firearms) now leave beta testing and the discovery of flaws and quirks entirely to the consumers. Quality assurance only exists on the paper anymore.
