I would contest that the best nations have experts in their own field doing their own roles. There's no point training a shooting coach into being a sports psychologist when expert sports psychologists exist already. You also then create a jack of all trades, master of none. Far better to build a coaching team encompassing experts from all areas, who work as a group.
