Re: can't believe...

what I'm seeing: two people, supposedly shooters, degrading the accomplishment of a fellow shooter. Is it because it's a lady? Any of you ever did get close to the Olympic indexes to participate in a national selection, and I mean closer than the internet? I dropped out of shooting in my state 'cau...

I had those sights on my boys AA 200. A backup sight is all they are good for.

Yep I already replaced mine with Air Force rear sights, made a huge difference. The Air Venturi sights were not cast correcty and were canted to the left. The peep disk hole was also drilled off center. Talk about lack of quality control. Remember Zoomie, if you are using the rifle in sporter compe...

Another $0.02 opinion..... If you do purchase the Air Arms T200, it comes with the cheapest sights available .... the Air Venturi $30 pieces of junk ... the Chinese sights we all complain about. I got 2 T-200's last year and the sights were >>literally<< falling apart upon arrival ... Since these w...

Everyone, thank you very much for all of the information in the last few posts. I will defiantly look into the NRA/CMP/USAS Levl-1 coach class. I have taken up the reigns as one of 3 coaches for our county’s 4H rifle program so any information I can gleam from good resources I am happy to take them...

Re: Scopes

Oh, I am sorry I thought you were talking about spotting scopes. I worked in a sporting good store for 20 years and we sold BSA scopes and to many had to be returned to us for various reasons, which a majority were from the cross hairs collapsing. The other reasons were the adjustment of the cross ...

In the club my boy shoots in they try to match the heavier gun with the older more experianced shooters. That said there is one girl the smallest in the group who shoots an achiever and every kid bar none likes shooting that gun.

BSA Scope

I was looking at a scope I could crank down to 50 feet for small bore shooting. The BSA 3-12X44 with adjustable AO looks suited to the task and at $100.00 looks even better. Anyone have any experiance with it?

Thanks

Re: sights

Zoomies, He had some trouble with the front sight working loose and the rear not being as crisp and repeatable as some of the other sights he has used in the past. Nothing major and could just be part of working the bugs out of a new rig. I had some issues sighting mine in the first time until I no...

Thanks for the replies. Not following through is a problem for us as well. I had six younger BB shooters on the line recently. All will follow through if reminded but after a few shots they go back to "pop-ups". They were scored with the Orion system and all of them were centered on the t...

What did they not like about the sights? I have a rear sight on my air rifle.

I sighted in my AA S200 yesterday and used a variety of pellets. It makes a difference. By a pellet sampler and see what the gun likes the best but you usually cannot go wrong with the match pellets like RWS or H&N.

I don't understand the question... If you shoot with it and it hits the point you're aiming at, what more do you need to align? The front sight mount is held by a set screw and is not perfectly verticle. At 10 meters its no problem but any further and I run out of horizontal adjustment on the rear ...

Re: Yes

Depending on your sight blocks / bases (round or flat) you can use square material about 12" long to align or assure that the sights are square to each other. I'll take some photos Friday if you don't have a better answerby then. Roy (678) 772-8185 cell I was thinking along those lines just us...

Sight Alignment

Is there a fixture or device available I can use to make sure the front and rear peep sights are perfectly aligned and also square and aligned to the bore of an air rifle? I have an AA S200.

Thanks.
