Both sights (Scope and Open) are illegal for NRA silhouette. Great Market research!!! I would suspect that those two pictures are just marketing shots of the prototype, and not a hard and fast representation of what the pistol can/will come with. Since there's an 11mm rail system that both the scop...

I'm pretty sure Magic City Gun Range still runs bullseye matches. (The two main outdoor shooting ranges in B'ham are Magic City and Steel City.) I don't believe they have a website, but you should be able to find a contact number through a Google search. Other than the Shelby County Sports Shooting ...

The grip makes sense for an entry level club pistol, but with that price that is definitely not an entry level club pistol.

I talked to them the week before last. They had the ones without the cases available, and were expecting another load of the ones with "good" wood and cases to arrive that Friday. I'd give them a call soon if I were you.

Thanks,

I shot with the factory grip for about two years, then got a Rink grip. The factory grip is average at best. Think of it as a kind of blank canvas- not much to speak of in its initial state, but certainly a good enough foundation to bring something good out of it. If you have good skills and are com...

First, my apologies if we've kind of hijacked your thread - we do seem to have gotten away from your initial questions, but I did want to throw in our experience in shooting RF at monthly matches. We built portable, no frills target stands that hold the five targets in proper position, and have one ...

Light topic - How many International pistols have you owned?

A little light discussion for a Tuesday afternoon. How many (and what kinds) of international style pistols have you owned? How many have you owned at the same time? I imagine most of us would love to have one of each mind out there if it was financial possible- who comes closest? Who are the crazy ...

Re: .22 Conversion for LP50 or other repeater target air gun

Hello, I shoot a Bullseye match near my place of employment after work. The problem is the company d/n alow firearms on it's premises. I have to drive almost an hour home and back to participate in the match. My boss has agreed that an air gun is not a firearm. Here's the scheme. Are there are any ...

Your best bet is to use a library or friend's computer to view the files on the company's website - they really are quite thorough, and I believe have all the information you're looking for.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but there are not many MG2 sold compared to other pistols. Why isn't MG2 popular? The answer should be pretty obvious by now... Wow. Now you know the quantities of pistols being sold by the main manufacturers? I'd ask you to share that information with us, except we all know...

And, the issue is whether DC can keep the gun bans that its had in place, or if the 2nd Amendment really is an individual right. Actually, those are two separate issues. It's pretty certain that the Supremes will hold that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right (by at least 7-2, and maybe 9-0). T...

Mine is a cumbersome single-shot pistol. A real pine. Anybody around willing to trade off their perfectly functioning MG2 to a very disappointed shooter? Please share with us what the problem is, and what you've done to try and correct it. Maybe someone here can help. Have you contacted the folks a...

Re: MG-2

Ditto-my MG2 works great. Myne to Same here. Thousands and thousands of rounds and I can't even remember having one failure. And it's a 1200 series. With regards to "guest's" failed logic, I think the participants of this board with no problems with their MG-2 already outnumber the partic...

Doug Bowser runs air events at the Southwest Gun Club in McComb, MS, which according to mapquest is only 111 miles from NOLA. (And in the world of Int'l pistol shooting, that's close!) I don't know what matches he is specifically offering, but here is his website: http://swgc.tripod.com/ Thanks, Ted

I would recommend finding the applicable policies/regulations/guidelines, etc., rather than relying on that person's word. The policies might very well provide the answer on how to to keep hosting PTO's there.

Good luck!

Re: You people aren't being very encouraging.....

I've been sitting on the fence for some time about a new standard pistol, and have been considering an MG2. Does anyone out there have any stories like "fed it thousands of rounds without a problem?" It's quite a chunk of change, and if it fails it's not simply a matter of running down to...
