Re: Cheek pieces - best design?

I shoot both the 2213 and precise stocks. They definitely aren't as comfortable as wood, but the spot weld and pressure consistency may be more important. Mark That's my belief anyhow. While I use the Tec-Hro carbon fiber piece on my rifle, one of the better prone shooters I've encountered made his...

Re: TAU 200 vs CZ 200T

The CZ 200 is very much a small Jr.'s PCP rifle. It is more compact on length, and depth than the Crosman Challenger PCP models. The sights are included.

Re: shooting jacket fix and modification

Dave - Out of curiosity, is she currently using a woman's coat? I was under the impression that they were cut to account for this, and the waisted portion of the coat sitting slightly higher than the traditional mens coat. As for the button holes - I had to keep taking mine to a seamstress who worke...

Re: Recommendations on an "intermediate" 3P adult jacket?

What exactly would you like to see? Basically, I'd like to see how tightly the shoulders, arms, and cuffs fit. One good picture to get would be a close-up of the cuff area when you're wearing a shooting glove. Thanks in advance! :) I'll see what I can do tomorrow, and get a few pictures up. I am in...

Re: walther kkm with anschutz match sights problem

William: Anschutz sights, may or may not readily fit on Walther rifles. They don't readily fit on Feinwerkbau rifles either. Generally, you need some type of adapter made, because the dovetails are either wider, or have a slightly different angle. Use your favorite internet search engine to look up ...

I'm practicing on Monday, and will have the ability for someone to take a few photos. Let me know what info you'd like to capture, and I'll do my best to get it for you.

Re: Recommendations on an "intermediate" 3P adult jacket?

Hi Trax - I use this exact jacket, purchased from Larry Sawyer about two years ago. They are made in Pakistan, according to the label on the inside of the jacket. At first, the armpit areas felt as if they were cut a little 'high'. I very nearly returned the jacket, because it didn't feel 'right'. I...

Re: Need recommendation on 11mm rings for Anschutz / Leupold

Zane, Might give these a try http://www.brownells.com/optics-mounting/rings-mounts-amp-bases/scope-rings/rimfire-scope-rings-prod13108.aspx . Part # 874-000-084WB, they are a Talley ring that mounts directly to the groove on the receiver. I use them on a couple of Anschutz's and my Feinwerkbau. I u...

Re: Centra adjustable M22 problem

Buckeye - If you have a penetrating type oil (Kroil, Liquid Wrench, etc.), apply a thin film around both end rings of the tunnel. I've had several of these, and this trick usually works. If you're impatient, you can 'oil' it all around - but I recommend several light films, rather than one heavy one...

Re: Is "No pulse" sling Worth the extra $$

I also found the one I use (a Sauer III) helpful. While it didn't eliminate the pulse completely, it made the movement smaller, and it now moves in a consistent predictable manner. Is the Sauer sling a no pulse type, i.e. one with some form of self-centring strap? I'd thought it was a conventional ...

Actually, changing out scopes is as simple as using two of these (one for each scope):

She's part of this 'Bundesliga' you speak of, and apparently medaled in one of the series.

Re: Scope options for smallbore....

If you are going to shoot the prone position in 100 yd. matches, 20X is barely sufficient. 24X is better for seeing your shots without having to resort to a spotting scope, which slows down your pace and allows more wind changes. I have tried about every scope in the 20X to 40X power range. I like ...

Thx for the Podcast Ryan - I downloaded it, and left a review of it immediately.

My only suggestion for improvement: kill the background music earlier. It covered most of the beginning of your podcast!

My understanding, is that over time contaminants like moisture, dust, and pollen can accumulate between the leaves of the iris. I frequently see folks using the small cans of compressed air to clean out the iris.

This set is supposed to have all 5 of the gauges. Two of them are specific in regards to their target, whether USAS or NRA. The entire set is supposed to cover Air and Smallbore, for NRA or USAS competition.

Re: incomplete filling of anschutz 8002 cylinder

I would be pretty sure you did not get a "full" fill. Many places will fill your cylinder until it hits the full mark, and just hand it back to you while still warm. To get a full fill you really need to let the tank cool right down and then top it off. If you are trying to fill the gun c...
