Centra 2 revolver sight for CF

By chance I came across the the Centra 2 revolver sight for S&W revolvers and wondered if anyone on the forum had experience with them. The sight is designed in one setting for precision and the other for duelling

Re: 9mm luger for International centerfire

The 1 in 10 factory barrel is a problem with cast lead, even the factory made a lead barrel for the 210-5. You can use polycoated bullets but expect some leading after 200-300 rounds. I changed the barrel in both my -5 and -6 to a aftermarket 1 in 18 barrel. Cast lead bullets are good now to over 1...

Manurhin MR88 - thoughts?

I’m fortunate to own a MR38 and have been toying with the thought of purchasing a MR88. I appreciate they are very different revolvers. I’m hoping someone on the board may have insight into the MR88 accuracy and perhaps if it’s possible to improve the trigger (lower SA/DA). I’ve read the Ruger GP100...

I was surprised that the HK mk23 wasn't listed as an approved pistol.

Re: Service Pistol alternates

3 questions: 1) Are you already Distinguished? 2) Do you have a purpose-built 1911 or M9 "service pistol" already? 3) Are you looking to buy a new pistol for shits-and-giggles, or to (go Distinguished|win EIC matches)? Hi John Good questions. First let me say I was a serious ISSF shooters...

Service Pistol alternates

Since the CMP service pistol rule change have any of you had sucsess or dabbled in anything other than 1911 or M9? I'm asking for a few reasons, but the main one is pure curiosity. I have no doubt a Sig 210 or 220 Super Match are accurate but is anyone using them? I may have the inclination to purch...

Thanks for the response, are you able to share a photo of your MG with custom electronics holder? Out of curiosity, have you made other parts using 3D printers?

Re: LP10 Compact popularity internationally

Hi Mike I am one in the same. I shot air and free pistol before getting into muzzleloading. This is likely why i enjoy shooting a revolver at 50m. Im currently suffering a bit of tennis elbow, which is why I'm thinking about buying Compact. I have Matchguns MG1E, which I like but its front heavy. Br...

LP10 Compact popularity internationally

Im curious to know how popular the LP10/E Compact are amongst international shooters competing at World Cups and other high level events? Im not looking to debate Pilkguns compact selling practice. Ive heard the compact models are not common on the international scene, which surprised me given the p...

Based on the photo posted by Tzed250, her front and rear sights appear to be dark red in color - interesting.

Tesro TS22/TS32 - popularity

I generally don't fall into the trap of what’s popular type of questions, but I'm genuinely curious to know how popular the Tesro TS22 and TS32 is now that the product line is several years old. Based on reading previous threads, there were issues with earlier versions, but that is common amongst ne...

You should however avoid Rohm and Tesrook, Röhm is a producer for non-competition guns, but Tesro makes good pistols (then owner of Tesro formerly was the chief engenieer at Walther..), so what brings you to this statement?
Has Tesro been sold and what thise mean for existing customers?

Pardini Air Rifle announced at IWA

I thought I'd let people know that Pardini, historically a pistol company, has announced on Facebook that they have produced an air rifle and unveiled it at IWA 2013. There are lots of photos of it on the Pardini Facebook page.

Bob, Thank you for flagging this issue. As Canadian, who on an annual basis tries to shoot a match or two in NY State, this law leaves me wondering am I allowed to enter NY State with a Pardini, GSP or lord help an MG2 with its tubular magazine as a non-resident alien (of course with the proper Fede...

The proposed changes raise more questions than answers for me at this point. For example, what is considered to be a vibration reduction system? Would a rubber buffer in many of today's 25m standard pistols be considered a vibration reduction system? Or how about the Hammerli FP10 and Matchguns MG1 ...

There are differing statements as to the origins of the LP10E grips. The factory grip on my 50e is definitely a spanish one, terrible shape, good for firewood only. On the other hand, Morini just recently claimed that they were the exclusive supplier for Steyr Air Pistols, so I don't know if Steyr ...

Like Tyco, I have an MG2e (RF) and an MG2 mech trigger, I prefer the mechanical trigger version, but have had good luck with my MG2e. However, I clean it every 500 rounds or I accept the odd double/malfunction. This is especially true when using average/affordable ammunition.
