Re: A possible option

Any android telephone or tablet can run a "Countdown timer" application. My samsung smartphones and tablet have one built into it's clock so I don't need to download an app. If the android device has HDMI output, it can be plugged into a TV for a larger display. If you have a smartphone, ...

Just to chime in again... I am still happy with my MG2 and agree with BPBrinson that gumming and residue may be the problem for some. Mine was second hand and of a reasonably old age when i bought it so first job was a thorough clean. Not possible to do a full break down without Knocking out lots of...

Re: MG2 or CM22

Hello forum, I’m the new guy on this forum. I’m shooting standard with an SP20, but would like to replace it with a Matchgun MG2 or a Morini CM22. Those who have either one of the two, would you buy it again? If not what would be your reason for a different model? Thanks for your help. Regards, Dan...

WOW! thanks Julio! these are priceless. Great pictures. I have been creating a playlist of youtube videos and studying Jorge's routine. Definitely a fan. Hmmm - custom slide?!?!?!? My MG2 has still not missed a beat and my scores get better every match. My handicap is taking a beating ... I broke by...

http://www.pilkguns.com/tenp/spaerch.htm from Pilkguns article: Trigger Adjustments In order to gain access to the adjusting screws the trigger guard must first be removed. This is held in place by the counter weight bar. To unscrew this, place the appropriate sized allen key in the counter weight a...

Grip between sizes

Here is an opinion question..

If your hand size is exactly on the boundary between Small and Medium (for example) is it better to have the smaller grip and palm shelf all the way out of the larger size with it all the way up?

The MG 4 has been to service twice but is getting better. The issues were failure to eject, failure to feed. The trigger weight also got lighter by it self. It has a failure rate of 2,1 % after 2500 shots but it is getting better. Most of the problems are probably ammo related. S&B gave failure...

Very similar yes! Firearm safety course- yes Gunsafe yes... Inspections are random but most eventually get one. Special added safe requirement for handguns. Handguns seperate licence to air rifle, rifle/shotgun which are slightly easier to qualify for and without so many ongoing requirements I belie...

I look forward to this pistole every time I see a picture of it. Unfortunately I have to wait until Februar or March to buy it due to our silly gun law Next year? Yes, next year.. In Germany, you have to shoot 1 year continously (18x per year) to even ask the shooting federation if they will attest...

Congrats! A new one? I have just purchased one as well.. a used model. Likewise I have put about 500 rounds through and been trying all sorts of ammo. No problems at all. CCI std, SK pistol match, Winchester T22, Geco pistol, Lapua, ELEY club. Cheap and pricey - all types function well. No malfuncti...

Ok, so I have found a similar general thread elsewhere in the forum on 1st and 2nd stage trigger weights. So that helps a lot, but I feel some of the posts there are misleading. I gather that the total release force/weight (at which point the pistol fires) is cumulative or the sum of 1 and 2. Assumi...

Matchguns MG2 trigger adjustments

As I tinkered with my recently acquired, but used, MG2 I found the previous setup of the trigger a bit worriesome. I have not really checked weights yet but the travel settings of each stage are what I am experimenting with. After a first clean and reassembly I noted there was virtually zero release...

Well, subsequent to my original post I now have the MG2 and have shot my first match with it (25m standard yesterday). I did not have a chance to get any practice in or even test it first. Since it had been sitting idle for some time and looked and felt a bit sticky I gave it a careful and thorough ...

I doubt those Gehmann flags would work under the new air pistol and air rifle safety flag rule. Unlike a bullet casing which has a flared brass rim and cannot therefore be force forward of the breech, a pellet can easily be forced so as to compress the skirt slightly and slide to any point up the b...

I am about three weeks away from getting my first MG2 (due to weapons licencing backlogs here). It is a used 22xx series so a few years older. Not RF version. I have tried to find as much info as I can but you do have to dig. Once I get mine I will do extensive testing and some vid reviews I think.....
