Pardini sport pistol

Hi, when holding my sport pistol naturally, the front sight is raised above the rear sight and towards the left. Besides carving the grip, are there any ways to lower the front sight? (example with a steyr lp10, I am able to raise the rear sight by increasing the length of the screws under the actio...

Hi all,

I get painful thumbs from loading up the magazine for Pardini 25m Sport Pistol. Does anyone know if uplula can be used for this? Any cheaper but reliable online options?

Thanks!

Sauer Pistol Easy Shooting Shoes

I just bought a pair of Sauer Pistol Easy Shootin Shoes. Now I read that the new ISSF rule states that the shoe must have a flexible sole. Oh no.. Does anyone know if Sauer Pistol Easy Shoe will pass the flexibility test (ie "The soles of athletes’ shoes must bend at least 22.5 degrees when a f...

Hi,

I think I have reached the level where I can start thinking about investing in shooting shoes. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Re: Who are your favorites for London 2012 Olympics?

My 2 cents on 10m Air Pistol Women.

I think Salukvadze, Kostevych and Sun have been dominating the world cups, I think either one of them are strong gold medal contenders.

Dark horses could be either of theses : park, baibassinova, arunavic etc

You know what? This happened to 2008 Olympics 10m Rifle winner Abhinav Bindra in the 2004 Athens Olympics. The floor was unsteady. Only after the event, did his coach discover that the wood wasn't glued tight and a bubble had formed. I wouldn't expect it to happen at the Olympics, but such an incide...

Uneven floor tiles in the shooting range

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has ever encountered uneven floor tiles or carpet in 10m shooting range?

Let's just say if the tile beneath your heel is lower than the ball of your foot. What would you do?

Thanks!!

Hi everyone, Thank you for your replies!! In my haste, I am afraid I left out some details, which would have been useful in considering your replies. 1. Yes, this is air pistol and I am using a steyr LP10. Hence, if my groupings (assuming I have perfect processes) are on the left, I would need to cl...

10s positioning

Hi,

Whilst shooting finals, I scored a couple of 10s. Noticed that most were on the left of the 10 ring, resultin in lower 10s.

I wasn't sure whether to click left (meanin to move the shots to the right).

Any suggestions? Would you leave it alone, I mean, afterall it is a 10?

Thanks!
