3/8" to 11mm sight risers / adapters
I would like to put a modern set of sights on a Remington 540xr for my son and need an adapter to go from the 3/8" grooved receiver to the modern 11mm sight base of the rear diaopter. Does anyone know of a commercially available product? I've searched and searched but haven't seen anything yet....

FWB 601 air pressure -release issue
I just purchased a nice condition 601 and after shooting it 30-40 shots the noise changed. Of course it probably useless to describe a noise on the internet but its no longer a pronounced pop/crack. What is probably more informative is that when I cock it again it has a small pressure release simila...

Neal Stepp
I'd say my experience with Neal has been nothing short of amazing. The shooting world is a small community and his service reflects this to a T. Please do yourself a favor and call him and see what the deal is. I'd bet the cost of your grip is worth exceedingly less then his reputation built on deca...

Pardini SP1 Electronic grip options - Pardini, Rink, Custom
Ok so here's the deal, I purchased a used SP1 for Christmas and haven't been able to play with it yet as the grip is way too small and ground up to a point beyond use. Thus, I need a new Large grip. Pardini stock grip = $242 Rink grip from Pardini = $268 Rink grip from Germany = $238 More or less, i...

Grip stippling
I found a finish nail sharpened to a point to work better than a cutting burr in a dremel tool. I sharpened the tip to a rounded point by turning the nail against a stone or some sandpaper. Then I just dotted the surface until I achieved the surface finish I was looking for (with the deremel spinnin...

Morini 162ei
I've found after months of training indoors, the sound of my Morini 162ei is really, really quiet when outdoors. The Morini is one of the last top level guns to not adopt the top of the barrel porting. Do a quick search on the basics of sound supressors and you'll find there are three major noise ge...

Thanks, I understand how the trigger unit operates and adjustments etc. there was something wrong with the unit itself. I sent it in and Larry's repaired/replaced something that cost $100. I haven't received it back yet to see the repair invoice. Thanks for the help and topic is pretty much closed. ...

EDM porting is an option although I've never run the machine myself. I'll probably do the 85% drilling at home (on my Bridgport) and then take it down to the EDM for the finish. My guess is that if Steyr does it (even with their recoil mechanism) it has to make some difference. Thanks for the tips g...

4 barrel ports
I see the latest tech for air pistols is to have 4 very small barrel ports on the top of the barrel. Steyr, Walther & Benelli all have them but I'm not sure on the rest. Are they worth adding to a barrel? As a machinist and fiddler I'm capable, I just figured I'd see what the general opinion on ...

Sear
Sorry, I should have noted that I already adjusted the sear screw so it wasn't interfearing. I adjusted it in until it released and then adjusted it out a full turn. That didn't fix anything so I adjusted it out more.
Thanks for the help.

TOZ 35 help
I purchased a TOZ35 that has an issue. The trigger/sear mechanism doesn't want to cock without a little extra help. When I pull it apart and operate the trigger mechanism by itself I can get it to set or lock by pulling the trigger, operating the lever, releasing the trigger and then letting go of t...

Vise time
The next step would be to lock the base piece of plastic in a vise (non-serrated jaws) and bending/twisting/pulling the metal off the base. If you can clamp a soft jaw Irwin Quick Clamp on the front and rear of the metal that will help to flex it open over the burrs. I wouldn't worry too much about ...

Grip fitting
My opinion on the matter; If you like or want to do some fitting of the grip to suit you, go with the small and work it to fit your hand correctly. It's much easier to remove material than add it back on and have it look nice. If you don't want to sand and grind a bit, buy the larger and crank the p...

Cleaning
I've owned 2 IZH35m and both of them needed serious cleaning inside the magazines. Yes there's a burr that needs to be fought to get the bottom off. Once it's off/out you can get all the gunk out and lube them properly. It's worth doing right (cleaning) so be patient and use lots of force. There's a...

Morini grip finish - or refinishing
I've got a Morini grip that's going to need some significant material removal to get it to fit right. What type of finish is best to finish the new section to match the old (stock) finish? I'm OK with my dot stippling technique and figuring I'll use a toothbrush to get the finish into the holes etc....

Rink problems
I'm going to say from those images you have a problem that Rink needs to deal with for you. In the image with the electronics overlayed on the grip it looks like it's not big enough to contain the elecronic board at all. Send the pictures to Rink and tell them what's up. They should pay for your ret...

162ei vs. LP10
When upgrading from my first AP, I choose the 162ei over the LP10 for a few reasons some of which are still valid and apply to you and some don't. I purchased a 162e model for my first AP and loved it and loved the Morini grip. Seeing as how Morini makes the LP10 grip it shouldn't be much (if at all...

Scott Pilkington recommended I ask the factory if the same part...

Morini CM80 owners - I need help please
I purchased a CM80 project cheap and missing parts. I checked with I.S.S. before I purchased it and Neal had the trigger unit and grip for it as well as a number of other parts I don't need. That said, I can't find a clamp lever as it's called in the 10p files or the armament lever to cock the actio...
