This article is for adjusting a Elisio tube gun stock. But I like it a lot. It may help answer some questions.

Anschutz stock
I have a 1407 stock that I can sell. I bought the rifle from MT Guns and stuffed it into an CompetitionShootingStuff.com tube gun stock. It is in good, but not perfect shape.

Interesting, I was thinking the same thing. I shot 3200 last weekend, and my neck is sore. Starting when the temperatures are cool, my face does not slip. But as noted sweat changes that. I notice that newer stocks have a more aggressive angle on the cheek piece. Not the rounded one like the older s...

I had an old six inch bench vice that I bolted to a 3/4 inch piece of plywood. I clamped this to a solid bench. Here is a little known tip - regular toilet bowl mounting bolts fit into an accessory rail (Anschutz) just perfectly. So I bought a 1.5 x 1.5 piece of hardwood, drilled three holes for the...

For years I thought my Unertl scope was 15 power because that is what is stamped on it. Recently I noticed, when using a spotting scope and the rifle scope, that the Unertl must have been doubled. It magnifies more that the spotting scope set at 25 power. Anyway, high power scopes are, at least for ...

1978 Anschutz 1611 with Shimmed action?
After years of attending the Ohio Gun Collectors Meetings here in southern Ohio (USA), I found the upgrade to my 1962 1413. It is an Anschutz 1611 (X serial number), manufactured in 1978 (barrel code HI). To all external appearances, the rifle looks new. I have lots of questions and have asked some ...
