Re: 50m Free Pistol dropped from W/C
Like I said, the liberal socialist weenies are running the show. The first step was just taken to eliminate shooting and it was a big step. Seems having all disciplines of shotgun, pistol, rifle come together and stand side-by-side to grow each others sports is a leftist liberal weenie type of thin...

Re: Coaching Question: When / How Much to Adjust Sights?
The app TargetScan does the same thing as a backer target but much more neatly and accurately - I adjust sites based on it and find it works very well. It also keeps historical data which is helpful.

You "revive" a thread by bumping it. Not by starting another one. Bumping consolidates relevant comments together to make the thread more useful.

Re: How to find matches
I'm a member of PRPC and shoot for the team. There's several of us that practice air before the normal Bullseye practice and we'd love to get more interest going in that regard. We practice Monday nights starting at 7 and sometimes earlier. We host the Sectionals which include air and free pistol bu...

I've been using the Matchdot Ultradot as I like the 2 MOA dot and I can't see spending the money on an Aimpoint which then needs to have so much work done to it to make it work. Maybe someday down the line I'll get to see one and appreciate the difference but for now it's not holding me back. I do a...

I feel badly for the New Yorkers too. They generally have one of the largest groups at Camp Perry, and New York has told them, in essence to take a hike. One law at a time, New York, is bent on driving out their most productive, and law abiding citizens. This is one of the things that the foreign p...

I think there's been some really interesting and fair reporting going on but it's rather overlooked. Both NPR and the Times have admitted that pretty much all of the proposals would not prevent another Sandy Hook. Even the president has admitted as much. But like a drunk driving tragedy it serves as...

One thing we learned from Newtown, if we didn't know it already, is that good teachers are amazingly protective of their students. They'll stand between them and evil even ...

I have not researched the numbers within the reporting to that depth, but because the nra has seen fit to force congress to ban any attempts to study guns and the resulting gunshot deaths in this country.... it is very difficult to gather the data. This is also something Biden has put forth which m...

I think the right has become, led by the tea party, a group that doesn't want to adapt or engage or compromise in many things. This is proving to be a very poor strategy (see gays in the military, see minorities, see women's reproductive rights) and while we are a country politically divided the bas...

The gun control crowd claim the high superior ground. We have offered good advise but it doesn't resonate with their superior morality. As a example I have read them claim in effect that a defenseless dead rape victim lying at the feet of her attacker is moraly superior to an attempted rape victim ...

I'm glad this thread is back on track and the discussion is very good with lots of good links and facts added for research. I certainly hope Gerard is continued to be allowed to post as he's had some very good thoughts, even though they may be contrary to those on the more right side of the spectrum...
