Were Barrel Weights for Diana 75Ut01 Ever Offered?

Can someone tell me if barrel weights were offered as an option for the Diana 75Ut01 model? If so how did these attach to the barrel and did the barrel shroud (name?) need to be modified or a different one used?

Scoping a Diana 75Ut01

I'd like to consider putting a scope on a Diana 75Ut01 and need advice doing this. I am considering either a beeman SS2L or a 66RL. Has anyone done this and which scope and mount did you use and how did this turned out? Also, did you remove the front sight or can this be left on? Any trouble with it...

I am looking for scope suggestions for a Diana 75UT01. I will be doing mainly target practice in my basement.
