Baikal MP-672?

Apparently the Baikal MP-672 has been around for a while (it seems to be a PCP 'version' of the IZH-46M), but as far as I can see there aren't any major distributors outside of Russia, nor does there seem to be much discussion here on TT. It's on sale for 22,000 Rubles (a bit over $700USD) here: htt...

IZH-46M, FTW. The Izzy, being an SSP, has no external cylinder. I've flown with my Izzy through several airports - most recently Sacramento and Hilo - without any trouble. A TSA x-ray screener at the Hilo airport even said, in what seemed to be friendly banter, "airgun, yeah?". I put it in...

Me too! The colors are awesome!! (yeah, I know that doesn't correlate with good scores in a match, but mine are low enough anyway that it won't really matter)

I find it extremely funny that Rink grips get recommended just like that all over the place. Fitting isn't everything, grips have to make that pistol point in the right direction Tycho: John (the original poster) asked a very valid question: in general terms, what can he do to improve, and he indic...

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the Rink grips look great on the IZH 46m. That won't help your score, but it will make you smile more.

I would advise you to consider getting the Rink grips for your IZH 46M. I just got one for my own and it seems to be a much better fit with a much more 'correct' angle. Given that the grip constitutes the entire physical interface between you and the pistol (except the trigger), it makes sense to ha...

I used a Crosman 2300s that I ordered from the "Crosman Custom Shop" for my first few matches in AP. It was enough to get me started in 10M AP - and I'd still say it's an easy to use, fun, and economical choice. I don't think it's the best choice for someone going primarily into 10m shooti...

Gerard - I'm curious about how much weight reduction off with the shorter cocking lever - did you happen to weigh it? Do you happen to have a picture of what it looks like now? Thanks for your helpful posts! ...a fairly dramatically shortened cocking lever, one of my exercises in weight reduction. I...
