Would love to go to NZ for that in 2017 - Keep us all posted if any information develops!

And yes, Isabel1130, NZ is a very beautiful and special place - but so is Japan and Wyoming, too!

Re: "High Center" hold - OR - fix 46m rear sight?

...I inspected my rear sight and saw that it was no longer held firmly in the vertical dimension - it was just resting in its lowest position, and turning the adjustment knob had no effect. I could freely move the whole sight assembly up and down with my fingers, but it just went back down to the b...

He didn't say he was cross eye dominant. He said his vision was better in his left eye. Get some shooting glasses and shoot RWS Basic pellets! *She. Get some reading glasses. "High Center" hold - OR - fix 46m rear sight?

OK, so I get to a match last weekend and start in on my sighters. I get a nice (for me) 9-ring sized group, but it's centered in the 6-ring, at 6 o'clock. I'm a little confused, because the gun was sighted in properly before, but anyway I raise the sight up 12 clicks (that's 4 scoring rings on the I...

The larger SCBA style cylinders tend to run upwards of $700+ when you include the cylinder + valve + hoses. Ours would be $300 and include all of the above and still give someone multiple fills at home. Its less volume but as an example, a Marauder can expect about 8-9 fills filling from about 1800...

Re: AP:Expired seldom used cylinders vs New daily used cylin

Is there a way to test the cylinders how much life they have left? Yes. Wait till it blows up, then you will know how much life it had left. Anything else is an estimate. Calvin's dad (of the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes) had a similar theory about how to set bridge load limits (see the top strip)...

I'm way more inclined to say "Congrats Alejandra Zavala" than to congratulate Cesare Morini (with all due respect to him); after all, I think she's the first Mexican athlete to win a World Cup in AP, no? It's good to see a diversity of equipment being used, but I think that fact just under...

I also believe flat soles and little cushion are a good option for shooters (e.g., any "minimalist" shoe, some kinds of skater shoes). When doing yoga, it's quite clear that balance poses are hardest when standing on a thick mat; those same poses are notably easier when standing barefoot o...

I don't know just how tight you mean, or what position you wear your belts (1980's style high or 2000's style low), but either way, there are some short-term and long-term considerations to think about - see: http://sheerbalance.com/brettsblog/health-problems-from-wearing-clothes-too-tight/ And I ca...

running close to dress code 2.7? I was curious so I looked that up. Wow. Just...wow. 4 pages of dress code (with many silly strictures) plus a full page form for reporting violations. Amazing. That is, indeed, a lot of regulation. Look how fun it is to take direct quotes from it out of context: &qu...

Air rifles/pistols appear to be "Category 4" arms in Spain. From the Ministry of the Interior's website: http://www.interior.gob.es/seguridad-40/armas-y-explosivos-648/clasificacion-de-armas-674?locale=es It doesn't look like "Category 4" arms need a license: http://www.interior....

And to be fair, the ISSF description does say that the " new event mixes air rifle shooting and middle distance running ", not sprinting. The description on the ISSF website talks about the running segments being 600m - too long for an all-out sprint. That they're calling it "Target S...
