Thanks for all the help guys. For once i actually get answers instead of questions being thrown back that me! I was looking online and saw the Keppeler Stock and Sercs Stocks (MEC Project). Does anyone has any opinions or experience with these stocks?

Ill put this as easy as possible. The 2018 is a very good rifle. Matt Emmons shoots a 2018 with a bloop tube. Although he did change out his original barrel with a Lilja Precision barrel. After doing so he won gold at Beijing. The rifle is only worth the money if you are getting good really quickly....

I have an 1813 supermatch, its a 54 round action. but i use that for 3P Im looking for a top of the line prone rifle. Im not limited by funds. The plan is to buy as i go along. The key factor with pricing is whether or not i can buy the action without the barrel.

I intend to use it for prone only. I want to shave the "bench-rest" fore-end down to 55mm and add an Anschutz 11 inch rail on the underside.

Just thought about something. Would it be easier to get a Master Class Stock for the action?

Barrel and action questions

Got a few questions. Whats better, a 21 inch barrel or a 27 inch barrel? WHY? Is it possible to buy an Anschutz 20XX series action, without the barrel? Im asking bacause im thinking of making a rifle for myself. I wanted to put a 20XX Anschutz action with a Lilja barrel and beesting tuner in a Ansch...

The price i told you was the stock alone. Not including the handstop. add 100 to 125 to price if the handstop is included and is in good condition (no marks, scratches, or stripped screws)

is the action and barrel include? If so, you want to take what you spent on the project and multiply that number by 1.5 . Add that number to what you believe the action and barrel is worth. Then take 10% to 15% off for age. Try that. If barrel is not include i think a fair price would be between 950...

The pictures i posted are ones that i looked at and were interested in. I dont want the precise stock because my friend went to Perry last year and had to shoot prone with his off hand block in front of the trigger guard because the officer deemed the trigger guard unsafe due to the fact that it isn...

New rifle stock ideas?

Im own an Anschutz 1813 super match rifle. It has the original 54 action barrel on it as well as the original stock. Ive been thinking of replacing the old wood stock for something with more adjustments like a sliding and cantable cheek piece as well as the ability to move the entire buttplate left ...

i actually just read an article yesterday about 1000 yard shooting. David Tubb, 11 time national high power champion, experimented with cant. He and another world class shooter determined that 1 single degree can move a bullet 5 inches. As a rule of thumb, about .5 inches at 100 yards with a .22LR. ...

The sights may not be the problem at all. I had a problem when i was shooting offhand. i was dropping the shot in the lower right hand corner of the bull. I couldn't find out what i was doing. A friend of mine look at me and said that i was dropping my forward elbow down (on my hip) just as i shot. ...

if you go to Camp Perry or Fort Benning, you may have take certain procautions for certain matches. I have a friend that had to shoot prone with the off-hand hand rest to make the gun "safe". The line officers hade a problem because the trigger gaurd doesn't meet NRA standards. It isn't a ...

I use a 4.4 in a 18mm sight. 'Dude, I really appreicate the advice. My front sight is fuzzy. I have already planned to get shooting glasses as my contacts don't perform very well for me. Also, I can read wind very well. I dropped the points, I dropped, because of simple error that I can blame myself...

To all, I dont shoot the best ammo out there but it works. I shoot sk standard plus for practice and for 50 yard and 50 meter targets. I use Eley Match for 100 yards, which I tested. The rifle shoots fine, I've shot A-50 targets and have shot groups inside the 10 ring, and ive cleaned A-36 indoor ta...
