Re: FAS SP602

I also noticed the two FAS 602 at the Hawkesbury dealer (I also live in Canada)...hmm $ 595 Cdn each...figured if I bought one I should buy both to use as backup/spare parts but instead did a thorough search on the internet and found a brand new in box unfired FAS 607 with paperwork/spares etc fairl...

Qualifying score for Rapid Fire

Rapid fire technique

Which brings us to which method is more accurate to shoot quickly.......sub 6 o'clock aim OR center of target........also, the only change to the target I believe is the addition of the thin horizontal white line across middle of the target, does this make it easier to use a center hold as you can n...

Walther SSP

While the early models of MG 2 had faults I believe those have been addressed and it is fairly trouble-free now.............I hope so as I sold my Pardini SP for the MG 2 (haven't had enough time with it to know for sure)......there's alot I like over the Pardini such as the weight distribution and ...

Matchguns MG2

Hi Mark..........Yes, will be going to Cdn Nationals in Prince Albert and I know of at least 2 others using MG2's that should be shooting Rapid Fire so we should have a pretty good (and competitive) time.................As far as free pistol goes you're correct on my having an MU55 (that I haven't d...

Matchguns MG2

Received my Matchguns MG2 today........VERY pleased with the initial impressions of it (although the weather was not cooperating well enough to get out and shoot it).......the feel and weight distribution of it makes me feel I did the right choice by selling my Pardini SP in order to afford the Matc...

Rapid Fire use of hands

for all intended purposes I believe that a rapid fire series does not have a time break inbetween shots and therefore the full timing session from start to end should be classed as "a single course of fire"...........although unfamiliar with the current rule book anybody attempting to use ...

MG 2 and TENEX

Hi.....while we're on the subject of TENEX and MG-2's ..........they seem to be various handguns TENEX will work reliably with and others that just won't work with it..................has anyone owning an MG-2 shot a quantity of TENEX thru it and what were the results........IF it doesn't work well,...

MU55

The MU55 or some people see the Russian symbol as a V which is pronounced something like thsay, closely sounding like an English "C", thus it has also been called MC55............thus MU55, MV55 and MC55 are all one and the same gun

Frank Dumoulin's FP

I found mine in a post on a Canadian IPSC site (totally unrelated to Olympic shooting)....I've come across about 3 of them for sale at different sites on firearms.....this seller was living in the "Far North" Canada's answer to Alaska and did not have the time or place any longer to shoot ...
