Madore built 1911 wad guns

Are there any other users of his guns out there? I have a Series 80 built by him that shoots like a laser beam.

The 52 is a gun designed for shooting the 148 grain wad-cutter bullet using light loads of bullseye for the centerfire stage of the NRA course of fire.

Most shooters just use the 1911 for both stages.

The 52 is a wonderful gun, deadly accurate and inexpensive to shoot.

Got it....... Madore made an alteration to the 80 Series disconnect that actuates the plunger with the grip safety, not the trigger. THe part is different than shown in the books.

Help Please, Madore 1911 series 80 parts

Hi, I have a match in the morning, it was a poor time for some grit to work its way into my trigger group. Probably a worse time to tear the frame parts down for the first time...... There are two series 80 parts that fell out, one is easy, it is the little finger part on the right top of the frame....

I shot a Citation years ago, loved it. However, good or bad, I want to stick with a known new(er) gun. The older high Standards were a work of art for their day amazingly accurate. They are priced into the sky by collectors far beyond the real value as a shooter to me. It is shame the new High Stand...

I was there, it was a dream come true, learning the right way to do it and why. Applying what I have learned, even in the inconsistent manner I have, has shown a HUGE increase in accurate shot placement. When applied properly the techniques learned will result in the 10 ring getting pounded into a r...

Please help me decide on a 22 bullseye gun.

I need a new 22 for Bullseye shooting. The Buckmark I have simply does not fit my hand well and is starting to misfire. It is one of the older ones bought in the mid 1990's, it was a truck gun forced into bullseye duty, now needing retiring. Are the new Smith 41's OK? How about a used FW-93? The Mar...
