Unfortunately, there is a great similarity in NAMES between the NRA Marksmanship Qualification program where there is Pro-marksman, Marksman, Marksmanship 1st class, Sharpshooter, Expert, and Distinguished Expert and being an NRA-classified Shooter classified as Marksman (usually below 85%) Sharpsh...

National Youth Team coach (pussy): I don't know of "pussy" means the same thing in Sinagapore as it does here, but if it does... it is probably not an appropriate word for a 15 year old child to use publicly to describe an adult authority figure. One advantage a teenage shooter has over t...

my SqDB throws 1.7gr of VV N310 just fine (83gr bullet)
it throws 1.5gr just fine (90 gr bullet)
when I set it to 1.2gr for the 98/100gr bullet I get a squib load every few dozen shots or so

I plan to try some 452AA or 231 with the 98's & 100's some time

If the overlap between "Wikipedia" and "factual" were in some way reliable If Steve Swartz were to write an article about shooting on Wiki and have a coupla of us here review it, I think it would be as accurate as anything readily available, and probably more accurate within our...

I recall learning about some other holding (no dry fire) drills put a vertical line on the wall, hold on that, put a horizontal line on the wall, hold on that, put a cross on the wall, hold on that. (have seen printed targets with these patterns) hold the sights aligned and draw a horizontal figure ...

my rifle experiment was smallbore at 50yd or meter prone with the sling, coat, hooked buttplate, you can't move the muzzle hardly off the paper without a major movement and I had a whole mountain for an impact area but i was concerned that i was subconciously jerking the trigger in order to "ca...
