Re: Benelli mp95 not locking up
Its probably OK. They are designed to be dryfired with a snap cap in them and the bolt held back about 1/2 inch. Mine came with a little red snap cap that holds the breech open. Probably more an open bolt indicator than a loaded chamber indicator. Of course it should close all the way on a loaded ro...

Re: Dots on MP90's
I don't know about the new ones, but If it has a rail the aimpoint micros work pretty well on a Benelli. They mount on the weaver base which is forward enough so as to not interfere with ejection, or take down. The R1 (discontinued), H1 and T1 are all basically the same device. You can pick them up ...

Re: Help choosing a bullseye 45
$2800 for the MCP is a bargain. Buy once cry once. You'll never have to buy another 1911, or worry if you should have bought something better.

Re: Please help me decide on a 22 bullseye gun.
I'd recommend a Marvel Model 1 with a dedicated frame. Any of the pistols you mention is going to be about equally accurate but the Marvel is the only one that's really going to have the same grip, trigger position, and trigger pull as a 1911. I bought an aluminum model 1 based on the test target (....

Re: CMP-legal Hardball Gun-Whose to get?
FWIW, I picked up a decade old hardball pistol KC Crawford built off gunbroker really cheap because a previous owner had drilled it and put a frame mount on it. He said it shot so good he turned it into a wadgun. I already had a wad gun I liked so I took the mount off and have been shooting it with ...

I would think that parallax would be worse with a shorter tube as on the Micro, however, I have not seen a test. Does anyone have a link to a comparison parallax test of the Micro vs Ultradot? Thanks ben There's actually not that much difference in the optics (device) length. The aimpoint just lack...

I have several ultra-dots and find the zeroing and locking of the settings all a bit weird. I am used to precision optics like my March scope and the black wheel over the allen key seems guessy. I am having a pistol made by Mountain Competition Pistols and was told to get an Aimpoint Micro 910. Whe...

Re: Marvel Magazines
You might want to give Marvel a call. In their FAQ they mention,
"We do have many customers that have our Conversion Unit on their Les Baers, but there are times when our Conversion Unit will not work."

One requirement I have is that I don't want to wait a year for gun, 4-6 mths might be ok. The only place I know to get one that quick is Les Baer. Does anyone have any other options? I'd suggest starting by giving Dr. Abrashamian a call at Mountain Competition Pistols to see what his turn around wo...
