Re: Type of Paper Used for Air Pistol Targets

Quote : "or printing one's own air pistol targets, can anyone advise what paper stock is used in making official B-40 targets--weigh and type of paper? Thanks in advance." "The result is acceptable for practice and is cost effective." Been there, done that, tried it. Results : 24...

Bolt-Actions are the dominant action in the sporting industry today, you can certainly find them almost anywhere. Toggle-Actions are faster to work than the conventional bolt-actions. Fortner actions are similar to the Toggle-action in function. http://qz.com/54254/this-german-invention-is-used-in-9...

Good information here. As suggested, turn one of the targets you are using around when it comes to live fire, might be surprised.

Re: Two-handed grip pressure

I am new and would like any feedback on two-handed grips. Thanks A search of the Internet of : "The Modern Technique of the Pistol" (Weaver) or "The Modern Isoceles" will bring you lots of information. On another board which I am on, I discussed the topic about reading a gun mag...

Any of the suggestions above are good ones.

Being on good relations with a reloader who makes their own bullets is good [ especially if you can shoot his/her guns/ammo ].

Given the [sometimes] shaky state of my shooting, I gave the technique a try (raising above, then setting back down) and found it worth continuing to try it while shooting.

Certainly not as fancy as many of the classy Air Pistols here, but I call this trio "The Targeteers". http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z157/T191032/Air%20Guns/IMG_4899.jpg The Beeman P3 (German Made) is totally stock. Despite the super trigger of this pistol, I shoot my Crosman's better....

"And put a strip of grip tape (skateboard type or stair tread tape from a hardware store) put it on front and back straps. Yes the back too. You can peel it off when you need to takedown the pistol. Buy extra tape." With regard to this, I found a roll of 3M "Ladder Tape" at Home ...

Excellent information in this old thread

While I can't help you with conversion to bulk fill, I can tell you that adapter is made to fit the large 9 and 20 oz bottles up where the 88g bottles would. These are the 88g ones : http://www.crosman.com/airguns/accessories/co2/CAS2T which you've probably seen at W-M. You need to check the Tau Brn...

Simple K.I.S.S. Gauge of performance for the Newcomer

In browsing through the various threads on this site, I've come across some good information. While I may not be aspiring to be come "The Next Great Champion", one thing that I do know is that certain things are important. At my local indoor range, I've been on the shooting line, and sitti...

wattsnot, For a dedicated pistol range in the back yard, if you have the means of sun protection (like a tent), that would be a good idea. Patio chairs would be good, padded nicer, all depends upon what you already have or are willing to spend. Search out the local Salvation Army/Goodwill stores/fle...

Very nice ranges ya'll have.

Ya'll have some far more sophisticated setups than my "poor-man's" setup (which is a work in progress of upgrade). Here is my basement range. Now, I may just be in that "hobby shooter" class I've seen Russ mention here, but the way I see it, it's fun and shooting one-hand, bulley...
