Re: Which buttplate carrier for Walther KK200?
There is no carrier in the picture. There are two rods with a threaded hole in the end and you screw it directly in the groove in the buttplate with M5 screws. The rods is possible to buy but really expensive so I recommend you to make your own if you have knowledge and machinery or go to someone th...

Re: Target center shot count?
I've never heard of any spectator that have questioned inner ten or not but more often how the decimal scoring works. I think that the problem is blown up in proportion and that energy is better spent on the range shooting or better yet at home dry firing.

Re: Target center shot count?
What exactly is the problem? The electronic scoring device tell you if it's a inner ten or not.

Re: Scaled targets for smallbore rifle training?
The center of the target is still in the center of the target even if the scoring rings are not correct. If you get the holes in the middle the score will will be good when you get to a range with correct distance and targets. The important thing is that the aiming mark is the correct size.

Re: The last 1 second.....
For me that looks like you don't have you NPA in the middle. You see that the red line is very close to where the shot landed and that red line is where you are sighting after the shot and that is for me a indication that when your muscles relax then your muscle swings to a place near the where the ...

Re: Back problems for hardcore 3P smallbore & air rifle shoo
Hi Johan_85, could you share the exercises you do for the core? Kindest regards, N I do US Army 4 for the core http://www.armyprt.com/special_conditioning_programs/4-for-the-core.shtml and then I do plank with leg raises http://trendotraning.se/2012/02/13/veckans-ovning-planka-med-rumplyft/ and fin...

Re: Back problems for hardcore 3P smallbore & air rifle shoo
I do physical training 3 times a week. I do 6 exercises for the core, 1 for the legs, then go out running and when I come back from that I do 4 exercises for the upper body.
Maybe my back would tolerate standing shooting if I didn't have back problems from before.

Re: Back problems for hardcore 3P smallbore & air rifle shoo
This is sligthly of topic because I'm not in the highest level. I took the decision to end my 50m 3P and 10m air rifle career this weekend. I have back problems from before I started shooting and my back just don't tolerate the amount of training that is needed if the goal is to be at the highest le...

I use Breakfree CLP when I clean my rifle after every time I have been shooting. I run two dry patches before I shoot it the next time and I have never had one problem and I have done this for around 45 000 rounds in my Walther. First shot lands where the following shots land. I do clean it with sho...

Hi Johan My wife was GB squad in the days of Malcolm and Sarah Cooper, now she just shoots for fun in air, 50 mt and 300mt, but she wants to do the best she can. We have been twice, both with air rifle, the first time she had a day with Maik where he worked on fine tune of her position and stabilit...

In smallbore standing there isn't many that hold the ten ring for especially long and certainly not the x-ring. A result of 390 points in standing is really good and if you constantly hold the x-ring then the results would be higher. I haven't seen any SCATT file from world class shooters where the ...

Unless someone's messed with the stock and moulded in bedding compound, it's wood on metal - doesn't stick. The Anschutz service team certainly don't use any sort of release agent when they've reassembled my rifle after giving it a once-over, just bolt the receiver directly onto the stock wood. Bed...

Okay maybe my question was misunderstood. I was just curious at what happens for other people when they change the position of their feet and how they have built their position. I personally look for a coach, have done for a couple of years now and no luck in finding one in my country that I live in...

Moving the feet in standing
What happens when you move only the right foot (right handed shooter) in standing? For me it feels like the biggest change is in my balance and therefore small adjustments in my natural point of aim is possible. If the aiming mark is outside the front aperture then I must adjust both feet so I don't...

As long as you see a lot of movement it's in my opinion meaningless to shoot. Holding exercises and dryfire is the key. When you get the movement down so it's reasonable then put in dryfire and really watch the sights and follow through. There shouldn't be any other movement when you activate the tr...

The way I think is that it is most important to call the shots and when they are off call on a good shot then I adjust my sights. Otherwise I keep chasing my errors and when I do make the correct shot then I probably will hit somewhere else on the target than the middle. If my recoil looks differnen...
