Well, think the moderators would like to limit the buying, selling and trading to competition shooting related products. They may also limit "professional" B,S,Ters.

Here is a question that was asked of me by Gary Barnes when I talked to him about one of his air rifles when I first started out. "What do you want to do with this air rifle?" When you can answer that question, you will know which one to get. You will likely end up with more than one airgu...

Adjustable Rear Aperture Threads

I am looking for an adjustable rear aperture with 3/8'-24 male threads. Does anyone make such?

Failing that, what is the "standard" threading for Anshutz, Gehmann, etc.?

Well, never having had a rifle with that size sight I did not know if that measurement was for the inside or outside of the tube. OK, now is that measurement the opening through the sight or is that the measurement of the diameter of the iris insert which will be larger?

I just wish somebody would have responded to me when I asked the O.D. of the 22mm clear iris.

Edge Rear Sight Question

I do not shoot competition but enjoy 10 meter shooting. I have a 46M and just traded off my FWB 601 this past weekend. I just acquired an Edge this past week and have a question about the rear aperature. I have been thinking of adding an adjustable rear aperature with focusable diopter. Do any of yo...

Clear Iris O.D.

Can someone out there tell me the outside diameter of the 22mm clear irises?

The tank date works in my favor on the price, but at this particular moment it is moot. It is likely going to take my mad money stash a few months to recover from my last bout of madness.

My plinking rifle is a FWB 601. My wife about lost it when I told her how much it cost. I too want top shelf quality and usually do spend the extra to get it. The problem with 10 meter rifles and pistols is that the new ones cost SOOO much that it is keeping the value of the used ones high. And when...

Just so everybody knows exactly where I am coming from, I do not ever see me competing. I am just a VERY serious plinker. About the only time I "compete" is when my son-in-law comes over.

Aeron, I guess. Over in Europe, CZ (I am not even going to embarrass myself by trying to spell it). It is my understanding that it has a Lothar Walther barrel, so if everything else works it should be able to hit the backstop.

Want To Try An Edge

I have been longing for an Edge for some time now, as you may well guess by my nom de plume, but have hesitated to buy one because I might not be happy with it's performance. What I am wanting to know is if there is someone with one who lives within a 2 or 3 hour drive of Roaonke, VA who would be wi...

I was thinking of making a reasonable offer for the Steyr, but yesterday I decided to buy my wife something nice for Mother's Day and now I do not have enough to make a reasonable offer on anything. I guess I will just have to be patient a little longer or sell some of my other toys. If any of you h...

I dream of a LP10, but my budget says no. An Alpha Proj is more than likely a realistic goal unless someone offers me a great deal on something else.

As was pointed out, the 46M will exceed my abilities for years to come. It is pretty much an urge for a new toy for the most part, but also a friend of mine has a son who is competing through 4H and I was thinking of loaning him my 46M. I also have a grandson that in a few years might take a shining...

Beginner Level PCP Pistol

I have a 46M that I have been plinking with for over a year now and I am thinking about upgrading to PCP. I do not compete but I am VERY serious about my plinking. My plinking rifle is a FWB 601. What would be a good quality entry level 10 meter pistol that I should consider? Thanks Pilkington for t...
