22 ammunition
I think the only universal suggestion with 22 ammo is try it. It may work in your gun and it may not. I learned the hard way that two people with the same type of gun may need two different brands of ammunition to get good results.

Pardini SP first stage
Well, I took a little more time tonight and tried again to measure the first stage weight, and I can get the trigger nose down on the ball for the end of the first stage at 3.8 oz according to my Layman trigger guage.

First stage weight
Well, I have a first stage that is relatively short so measuring it was not trivial, but it is under 8 oz. Remember, the first stage ends when the nose of the trigger comes into contact with the ball which is on top of the CS / PS screw. I also remember when I was doing some early playing with my SP...

SP first stage
My trigger is set for the second state at 2 lb 1 oz, and my first stage is LOTS lighter than that. I'll put a scale on it when I get home tonight, but I'd be surprised if it is over 6 oz. There must be something else strange going on for your first stage to be that heavy. I have not seen replacement...

CCI SV in an SP
Pardini magazines are sensitive to the length of the round. CCI SV is manufactured at the maximum SAAMI length so you have to watch that the rounds don't hang up in the mag. A simple check is to pull the mag follower button on a loaded mag down with your thumb and if the rounds fall freely and snap...

Re: Finding good SSPs
You could try here: http://pardiniguns.com/ (US distributor). Remember, you only need one. I put out a want add for a K58 / K60 and did not get any bites on it. Another person did the same thing, but obviously I don't know how their quest went. I thought I'd try putting a want ad out every few mont...

For the price of an HW-75 you can get a new IZZY and maybe even fi,nd a grip maker to match tha 46M's grip to you. That's probably the right way to go, even for a home shooter if you're interested enough in precision shooting to read this! -Pete Rink makes grips for the Izzy. They have several opti...

Finding good SSPs
Yeah, the K58 is kind of scarce, but not as scarce as the others. Why don't you put a WTB in the Classifieds here. Also, you can find the FWB100 for a lot less money than the 102 or 103. The performance is equal and I find its simpler design more appealing even if they are kind of large and muzzle ...

As much as I like the FWB, I would have to recomment the Pardini K58 to those looking for an SSP for its more modern ergonomic design and its lower price. The lower sight line, excellent trigger, and better grips on the K58 put it to the top of the heap of SSPs. The problem with the K58 is they are...

4-H training
In Kansas, there is no attempt to integrate the skills needed for Nationals in the instructor training. Kansas intends for the training to only be an introduction that allows instructors to conduct a safe class in their particular discipline and a how-to as far as teaching introductory material. I j...

I'd go for one too. I'd make it $600 for one in good shape. However, I'm not holding my breath either.

Those are great references. Thanks. Now all I have to do is be patient, work slowly and get it right.

Trigger lube
I assume that molykote is similar to the Slide Glide that Brian Enos sells. I have used it on the Pardini's bolt, slide and barrel. It seems to do a great job. From what I've seen, Slide Glide stays where you put it and makes the gun cycle very smoothly.

The Rink grips are slightly smaller than most other brands like Steyr, Morini... (but I never compared with a Pardini grip) -> in your case a large should fit unless the Pardini grip are also smaller. For your trigger blade moved too much forward, Rink has an option for people with relatively long ...

Rink grip sizes
I have a medium grip on my Pardini SP that is barely big enough for me. I have to put the palm shelf nearly all the way down to be able to get my hand above the shelf, however it will fit. I also could use a slightly larger grip to force my trigger finger back a little. I have the trigger as far for...

Trigger group lube
Are there any suggestions for lube for the trigger group on a Pardini SP? I had been considering judicious use of something like Mpro-7 LPX. Is there something better, or should I just keep things clean and not lube it at all?
