Re: What New Free Pistol
"What do you guys do regarding ammo for your handguns. At 50 feet and 25 yards, I am not that picky about it, but at 50 yards, I would think ammo can make a big difference." Naah, very many of us use CCI Standard Velocity for everything. Except Conradin, he uses ELEY tenex. Before the mat...

Re: Toz 35 Modifications
Hi Sean ! Congratulations, your TOZ is really wonderful ! The grip is very nicely shaped, and the pistol seems very well balanced. What is its weight now ? The overall package I'm shooting right now is 1170 grams. Of that 85g is the compensator and 221g is the grip/hardware. I'd be interested in kn...

Re: Toz 35 Modifications
Hello Guys ! Thank you for bumping this thread and giving me the chance to see the pictures of how you did your sidecocker. It's interesting to compare/contrast with mine that I just recently finished: https://i.imgur.com/H0OrGIt.jpg I did the same two threaded holes into the top of the cocking lev...

Re: Zins grip
Would you consider reshape your anatomic pistol grip to accommodate this Zins grip? Only if my NPA had my arm angle in a position where it was necessary, or if I shot cross-eyed, or if my neck wasn't flexible enough to bring my face in line with the gun. This problem has a different solution with e...

Re: TOZ grip screws
They're a pretty fine thread pitch though. The tap in my Craftsman set is 3mm x .6 and that's definitely not the right pitch. Maybe a .5

Re: Which has a better trigger ?
Wow, you guys got into some deep philosophical discussion there..... Anyways, triggers: My first AP, a used Pardini K2, still has one of the best mechanical triggers I've ever spent extended time with. The K10 was a bit of a regression (or so I hear), but the K12 is back to being one of the best on ...

Re: Rover says you can't buy a better score...
It certainly moves a lot of air. It's first test shot produced a nice cloud of aluminium shavings upwards through the ports. But you're on-point in noticing that the biggest benefit is to move some additional weight forward of the trigger. Nicely rebalances the gun. And I'm planning on driving out t...

Nor Cal Free Pistol?
Looking at the califpistolmatches website I'm seeing plenty of Standard, Center Fire, and Bullseye events, but no FP matches at either Diablo or Coyote point on the calendar. Where did everyone go? It's bad enough that we Southerners never get together to host FP matches, don't tell me that you Nort...

Morini 84e FP Grip
One of my gripes with the Morini's stock grip is that the thumb rest area only partially supports the thumb, in the way that you'd expect an AP grip to work. I like the Toz's grip because it fully supports (and actually surrounds) the thumb. At Nationals I saw a few shooters that had 84e grips with ...

Here in 'Murica? I guess we're a little more resistant to change.
