Well folks, still having trouble with the izh not firing. Here is the latest wrinkle. It fires every time when there is not pellet in the chamber. But put a pellet in the chamber and it won't fire.....Except it will sometimes go off when I am closing the latch on the breech, just before it is closed...

Thanks again for your suggestions. However, the breech opens fully when I cock my gun..and its out of warranty.
