I liked the manual I received with the Level 1 Coaches Course which also contained a copy of Launi Meili's book. I use it alot to help work through basic positions or added supplement. In pursuing my level 3 coaches course I took the ASEP Sports First Aide which I thought was really good and I have ...

Last response was a bit pointed, I had the same concerns but not NCAA oriented. Here is the link to the NCAA technical regulations http://www.ncaa.org/wps/wcm/connect/public/ncaa/playing+rules+administration/ncaa+rules+sports/rifle/playing+rules/2011+usas+gen+tech 6.3.9 has the general target height...

Centra Rear Iris - English instructions?

A little bit embarrassed, received the instructions for the Centra 1.8 Indoor (not in english) and I'm not sure how to adjust the aperature size. The lens switch on a turn click, no problem, but I guess I sort of thought that was how the aperature size would work too! Any ideas, hints, slaps upside ...

Just finished it, and I'm having my shooters read it too. The internal perspective was attention capturing. I can think of several shooters that I would really like to see a similar book come out about their individual trials and triumphs.

What value does 4-H bring to the shooting sports? I can understand the flip side question as I coach in both 4-H and USA Shooting. However, IMHO that is the short sighted question. Competitive shooting sports is not an actively growing sporting event with youth. 4-H widens the base in which potentia...

In Colorado I hear similar sentiments as caveman since I have youth that do 4-H but also are involved in NRA Regionals, USA Shooting PTO's, JOSC, etc. and it is true several exceptional shooters dont participate in 4-H due to one reason or another (usually because Colorado 4-H doesnt follow any std ...

This is an interesting discussion topic because it seems 4-H, in relation to shooting sports, has a tendency to move towards the skill development/educational aspect and away from the competition components. I'm not sure if this is a directive, or to promote youth development or what. This can be se...

I guess I'm a little confused as to what it is your asking now? Since we've been with the NTC Junior Club I've had amble opportunity to look at a ton of different rifles for youth. IF the question is: "What is a good youth air rifle" it seems to me that you have three great options in fron...

My son has an Ogio 9400 and at first I thought he was crazy because the price between 125-250. However, after spending a season taking it outdoors and indoors, through gravel parking lots and flights of stairs, I've been really impressed with the construction and durability. I also like all the diff...

My son (William) who started with the NTC when he was 10 and is now 11, shoots a FWB 700 Junior (weight with sights 7.6lbs) and loves it. His jacket is a size 152 so similar in size? He tried Walther, Anschutz and FWB through the NTC before deciding on the FWB although the Walther was a very close 2...

Sorry for confusion, wasn't planning on running oxygen, they are just old aluminum medical oxygen tanks. Sounds like though they might not be pressure rated high enough, so if I cant get above 3K probably not worth it.

Medical Oxygen Tank for filling PCP Rifle?

Where I live scuba companies are far and few between, but a friend of my acquired some decommissioned medical aluminum oxygen tanks and is offering them to me. They are smaller and seem more portable (essential for taking them to our practices). The only question is would they work? I'm not sure why...
