Re: walther ssp .22 pistol jamming
Murphy's Law at its finest i guess. No gun is immune. I have not trawled through the thread (so I apologise for repetition) - but shot an SSP-E for rapid fire (even though I am not very good). Never a problem - never it shot like clockwork - until the nationals - when suddenly every round jammed / s...

Re: Bad cylinder
i am not very sure but i think matchguns air cylinders fit sam airguns. designer is the same for all 3 (sam-anschutz M10, SAM K11, Matchguns MG-1).

Re: AR 10 low velocity problem.
assuming you have access to another p70 (that works well) you could try and change one item at a time to see where the failure is. suspects are 1) all the springs in the air path (not just the velocity spring) 2) all the orings (the exploded diagram has the necessary sizes in order to obtain them lo...

Re: Question for Walther SSP Owners
Wather's current website states: "· MOTION CONTROL System: A pneumatic damping system provides a smooth release of the shot and cushions the rearward movement of the slide." I believe that they never dropped the damping system. It would require a re-engineering of the slide mass and sprin...

Re: Question for Walther SSP Owners
Almost all pistols for issf 25m treat the 5th shot just like the other 4 because when slide stays open after last shot it ruins balance and follow through. In Rapid Fire most shooters shoot a 6th imaginary shot to ensure the 5th shot was executed properly. how old is your SSP? newer ones dont have t...

Re: Matchguns MG1 pressure regulator problem
northpaw i wouldnt try to repair the cylinder myself. if it leaking that bad and assuming you fix the regulator it is best to buy a new one either from matchguns directly or from a local importer. also i think (but i am not sure) that the SAM K-series cylinders fit the MG1.

Re: Matchguns MG1 pressure regulator problem
northpaw you can open the regulator of your mg1 and see if there is a visible worn o-ring. the exploded diagram of the manual has the sizes and location. just be careful with the stack of the spring discs. make a copy of their arrangement so you can be sure when you reassemble everything. also check...

Re: Steyr Evo 10 E vs Lp 10 E
beside the new frame with room for longer finger and the rotatable sights the biggest difference in these two is the trigger unit. evo10e has new electronics, new battery (li-po), charges from USB and propably new grip for the new electronics. i havent touch one evo10e yet but looks like the new tri...

Re: Tokyo 2020: ISSF Ad-Hoc Committee releases Shooting prog
so teams in all Olympic team events should also be randomly selected with random coaches to prevent elitism. I would like to see the algorithm selecting 5-9 goalkeepers for a team in football or team vatican in basketball gets Lebron assigned and wins OG. PS i wonder what would happen if Mesi was as...

i guess since it is the Olympics that a mixed team will have both its members from the same nation like for example in sailing. I cant think anything else.

Re: Tokyo 2020: ISSF Ad-Hoc Committee releases Shooting prog
The decision to have mixed air was put into consideration due to no one need buy additional equipment. I find this as a downgrade. The worst is we will have too many air events so the next thing they (IOC) will ask to decrease something it will be the air events. Free pistol (even mixed) is in my e...

Re: trigger of Steyr Evo Lp10E
From experience in my country most people recognize the name Morini and associate it with Cesare (grips, guns doesn't matter). They are unaware that Morini (Switzerland) nowadays is not affiliated with Cesare and that Matchguns is the current company of the old man. At least Italian shooters support...

Re: Any Reviews Of Steyr Evo10E Out?
at some point given that lp10 is now out of production more people will buy the evo10/evo10e and we will get a better idea of how it fares against the other air pistols. the mechanical is not very far from the lp10 mech though in my opinion.
