Re: Anschutz\Walther Hand stop
The 'basic' one will fit. Its a good starter hand stop. I strongly discourage you from the big one. The one i really like is the mec/centra one. Its counterintuitive but smaller hurts less than bigger

Re: Anschutz 1913 vs Walther kk300?????
Havnt seen the biggest most important difference stated.
The distance from trigger to loading port is much better on the kk300. Thats worth points

I agree 12.5 in is about right out of the box. With creativity and a machinist i have one set at about 11.5 inches.

Re: beginner advice, shooting coats and offhand advice
I think the two CC are the same except color. Call and ask. Im not sure if the anshutz one is worth $9 more or not. I think any of them will be enough to get a shooter into the 580s. In the past i have asked them to ship two sizes with agreement they would take one back. Get the one yhat fits best i...

I presume orion is accurate. And that it makes clear that even the human mind in highly critical mode is generous.

Re: Need Help Scoring USAS/NRA 50 targets for 4H Program
With an inward guage it must completly cover the dot in SB 50 ft. An outward guage is probably better and you use them like you read in the air rifle article. Even being very critical using guages scores are lower when using orion. Outward guages are available from 10.9 for a couple different 50ft t...

Re: Score drop on match day
1) match scores shot at home and even at local club dont count for personal bests.
2) make training harder than matches.. Then matches feel easy
3) build pressure drills into your training as much as possible
I cant think of another sport where so many shoot match after match during practice time

1907, 1813, dont pass cause the woodstock is below 130. Also the walthr jr (newest blond an blue laminate) doesnt pass. Also, FWB P70 jr doesnt pass. I disagree, the rule as written here, clearly says buttplate! The carrior wont be considered as part of the buttplate. Of 6 precision guns at our hous...

Re: Pellets for newbies....the three questions
Naw, rovers right. Buy 20,000 pellets and when they are gone you might, might be good enough to need pellet testing. Even in air rifle any name brand holds the ten ring and most, if not all hold the X ring.

Re: Industry - Summary of Proposed 2017-2020 ISSF Rules Chan
I just checked two wood stocks. Both are no longer legal and no way to modify them. One air and one SB. I would presume they have made all wood stocks ilegal. Both kk300 alutec and fwb700 pass IF you put a different buttplate carrior on them. Neither pass now. I dont think any of the current BP carr...

Re: New guy with a size question
Patriot, Prone? I'm assuming conventional prone, any gun is accurate enough to shoot 3200 there. The question was a 3p gun, and I would include international (metric) prone with that. Sorry, I stand on what I wrote, you need better ergonomics there to make finals and win than you can get with an ann...

Jus my opinion. I think 90% of shooters in usa shoot a anshutz(i do) but i also think 90% of the winners dont.

Get a hex head longer than needed and thread a wing nut on all the way. Lock tight the threads. Work great and if get stuck you can use a hexkey
