My SP Old likes SK Pistol Match Special.

Go with the Pardini. Excellent ergo's and excellent reliability, very good accuracy. I use SK Pistol Match Special and have had only 2 malfunctions in over 5000 rounds.

I have not randsom-rested my GT-45, but I have shot it off sandbags and off a hy-score pistol rest and it grouped pretty good with match ammo at 50 yards using a 4MOA dot. I think it's an accurate enough gun for the long line. I have a Rink grip on mine and that helps the hold a lot.

I don't believe there is any theoretical advantage to using small primers. I have used them in the current ammo shortage and have had good results on the short-line with them. They *seem* to have just a tiny bit less recoil with the same load. Not sure if that's just my imagination or not...

While I'd normally agree with Greg, finding a set of grips that really fit you and help you pull the trigger better can be one legit ways to 'buy' points. I use only 1 ring on the back of the dot on my Pardini, works great. I'm considering trying two rings on my 45 actually mounted forward.

I use one on my 45 because I feel the slight narrowing of the field of view trains me to come back on target better in rapid fire. I have clamped them with rings before and they didn't crush.

If you don't reload, check out ASYM Precision's loads. The have a 185 JHP load that is perfect for the long line and a practical match 230 FMJ that is very good too.

My understanding is that the bolts just differ in mass. But I could be wrong.
